Led by four RBIs from Jonathan Masters, the Gilliland Orthodontics Giants defeated the Ligon Oral Surgery Rangers 17-5 in the 9-year-old league on Monday at FNC Park. In the other 9-year-old game, the Oxford Plastic Surgery Red Sox topped the Hinton & Hinton Cubs 17-12. In the 10-year-old league, the First National Bank Tigers edged the Rainbow Cleaners Rays 8-6, while the Rayner Eye Clinic Braves beat the Tannehill, Carmean & McKenzie PLLC Cubs 15-3. In the 11-12 games, the Old Taylor Antiques Giants edged the Bank of Oxford Yankees 7-6, while the Smith Building Supply Red Sox pounded the Hunter’s Hollow Braves 10-1. In the 13-14 league, the Twins beat the Royals by forfeit, while Davis Logistics of Oxford Braves doubled up the Sharp Insurance Royals 8-4.
