Led by James Miller’s 24 points, the 13-15 Lakers were able to defeat the Grizzlies 38-26 Thursday night in Oxford Park Commission youth basketball action. In the other 13-15 game, the Celtics pounded the Heat 44-26. In the lone 9-10 game, the Grizzlies edged out the Heat 18-15. OXFORD PARK COMMISSION HOOPS — Close games in the 7-8 year-old league highlighted Oxford Park Commission youth basketball action over the weekend. The Lakers topped the Cavaliers 12-10 while the Jazz nipped the Clippers 19-18 on Friday. The Lakers also edged the Mavericks on Saturday 13-12.
