In the other 9-year-old game, the Oxford Plastic Surgery Red Sox topped the Hinton & Hinton Cubs 17-12. In the 10-year-old league, the First National Bank Tigers edged the Rainbow Cleaners Rays 8-6, while the Rayner Eye Clinic Braves beat the Tannehill, Carmean & McKenzie PLLC Cubs 15-3. In the 11-12 games, the Old Taylor Antiques Giants edged the Bank of Oxford Yankees 7-6, while the Smith Building Supply Red Sox pounded the Hunter’s Hollow Braves 10-1. The Bert’s Plumbing Red finished the Oxford Park Commission’s 9-year-old league season with a perfect 12-0 record and become one of four teams to win a championship in 2010.
The First National Bank Braves finished with an 11-1 record to win the 10-year-old league title this summer, while the Chandler Nissan Cardinals and Hunter’s Hollow Inc.
