OMS Chargers, Lady Chargers shine in latest meet
BLOG — A trip to Pontotoc turned out to be a successful one for the Oxford Middle School track teams. The Chargers won the Pontotoc Invitational Tuesday afternoon, while the Lady Chargers finished second. Both teams will be back in action at home Tuesday afternoon at Bobby Holcomb Field. OMS boys’ streak snapped
OMS BOYS STREAK SNAPPED: The Oxford Middle School boys track team had its streak snapped on Thursday at the OMS Track Invitational held at Bobby Holcomb Field. Oxford Middle School runs practice meet
Oxford Middle School participated in a successful practice track meet Thursday at Oxford High.
“We had discussed having a practice meet for a couple of years, and Coach (Scott) Kendricks said we could have the track for an afternoon,” OMS boys coach Mike Hardwick said in an e-mail. (March 12, 2010, Page 8A)
