Oxford Music Fest 2012 spotlight continues
OXFORD TOWN – The photo shown here caught one of Oxford’s favorite musicians, Tate Moore, jamming at a 2011 Thacker Mountain Radio Broadcast and we’re glad we have it in our archives because Moore takes the spotlight on Page 9 in this week’s issue of Oxford Town as we conclude our sneak peek at the Oxford Music Festival set to reload Feb. 9. This week’s spotlight includes bands and acts for Feb. 11 and 12 at Proud Larry’s, the Lyric Theater and Malco Studio Cinema. Last ‘Potter’ film a big draw
Nearly 1,100 attended the midnight showing of the last movie in the multi-billion dollar Harry Potter series at the Oxford Malco Studio Theaters in Oxford. Nationwide, tickets brought in $32 million before the movie even opened in pre-ordered ticket sales. (July 15, 2011, Page 1A)
