PREP SOFTBALL — The Water Valley Lady Blue Devils overcame bitterly cold temperatures to defeat the Oxford Lady Chargers 16-15 in the fastpitch softball opener for both teams Tuesday night at Stone Park. Courtney True drove in the game-winning RBI for the Lady Blue Devils in the top of the eighth inning, while pitcher Kelsey Kimzey secured the win in the circle after fielding a ground ball she coaxed OHS into hitting in the bottom of the frame. DeDe Fitts serves as an inspiration to many
