Lady Gators too much for Lady Chargers
Oxford’s chances of making the upcoming MHSAA’s Class II playoffs were dealt a significant blow thanks to 3-1 (22-25, 24-17, 25-14, 25-18) loss to Lake Cormorant Tuesday evening in the OHS gym. Lady Chargers escape with victory
There were several nervous moments for Oxford High volleyball coach Tara Ross in the Lafayette gym Thursday night. In a match that was decided on errors made by both teams as much as it was outstanding plays turned in, Ross knew that if her team focused better they had a shot at recovering from an early 2-1 deficit and earning a win over LHS.
