Chargers may have lost, but they’re still winners

We know Oxford High football players, coaches and fans are still hurting from Saturday night’s loss in the Class 5A state championship game, but we want to congratulate them on a job well done this season and over the past two years. They have represented themselves, their school and their community well, and we applaud them for that. (December 9, 2014, Page 4)

      Chargers win in OT against Saltillo

      SPORTS BLOG: SALTILLO — The Oxford Chargers used a five touchdown performance from senior running back Mont Dean and a much more physical defense in the second half to capture a 35-28 overtime win against Region 1-5A foe Saltillo Friday night at Willis Wright Stadium.
