Oxford QB Abraham verbally commits to Tulane

It was a reward for the school as much as it was for himself. Oxford quarterback Jack Abraham has thrown for 7,000 yards and 72 touchdowns the last two seasons in the second-largest classification of Mississippi high school football. But the rising senior’s small stature at 5-foot-11 doesn’t have power conference schools believing he can play the position effectively at the next level. (April 26, 2015, Page 1B)

    Hill aims to leave Oxford ‘better than when I found it’

              Oxford’s varsity football game against Lewisburg this week has been moved to Thursday because of the threat of inclement weather, the school announced Wednesday afternoon.
