Hill aims to leave Oxford ‘better than when I found it’

Just like they do to end every school day, Oxford High’s football players reported to the field house for seventh-period workouts Wednesday. But coach Johnny Hill had something he needed to tell them before they began.

            Oxford’s varsity football game against Lewisburg this week has been moved to Thursday because of the threat of inclement weather, the school announced Wednesday afternoon.
