    Fire department revamps pay scales

    Part of the $3.7 million budget for Fiscal Year 2013-14 submitted by the Oxford Fire Department includes a 6.5 percent raise in salaries for captains and battalion chiefs which is part of a new pay scale program Sallis is hoping to gain support for from the aldermen. (August 5, 2013, Page 3)

        Fire camp teaches kids more than how to stop, drop and roll

        The Oxford Fire Department is accepting applications for its five-day fire academy for children 6 to 12 years old that will become in June. Applications may be picked up from any city fire department and turned in by May 21. (April 30, 2013, Page 3)
