Free pickling seminar offered by garden association

A pickling workshop was held Monday by the Oxford Community Garden Association where about 14 attending learned two different recipes to make dill pickles and pickle other fresh veggies. (July 29, 2011, Page 1B)

      Gardening with Native Plants

      The Oxford Community Garden Association hosts a free workshop on native-plant gardening Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Stone Center, located at 423 Washington Ave. Kristin Lamberson from the Audubon Society will present on the benefits of planting native plants and attracting beneficial insects. The workshop is free and open to the public. (May 4, 2010)
