Planners deny hospital’s sound plan

The Oxford Planning Commission ruled Monday that a wood fence is not sufficient enough to protect the citizens living in Bickerstaff Condominiums from the noise produced by the construction of the new Baptist hospital and Belk Boulevard extended. (April 15, 2014, Page 1)

      Classes set to begin Tuesday at OHS

      The new Oxford High School located in Oxford Commons reached “sustainable completion” Wednesday and will open its doors to students Tuesday for their first classes at the new building.
