Oxford Board of Aldermen election

Mayor Pat Patterson re-elected

Incumbent Mayor Pat Patterson won Tuesday’s election with 2,122 votes. His opponent Todd Wade took 1,220 votes. In the Ward 1 and 2 races, both incumbents lost their reelection bids. In Ward 1, Jay Hughes won with 485 votes over incumbent Ney William’s 450 votes. In Ward 2, Robyn Tannehill received 664 votes compared to incumbent E.O.     Former NFL player to run for mayor

    Former NFL offensive tackle Todd Wade qualified Thursday to run for mayor of Oxford in the June municipal election against Mayor Pat Patterson.
    Also on Thursday, former Tourism Council and Oxford-Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce president Robyn Tannehill qualified to run for aldermen in Ward 2.  (March 8, 2013, Page 2A)
