        Poem provides fitting tribute to subscribers

        Writing and photography and selling advertising are important parts of the newspaper business, but the key to any success is the subscriber. Editor Don Whitten recently received a 100-plus year old copy of a poem that sums up feelings about regular subscribers and thanks them for their part in putting papers out daily. (August 22, 2011, Page 4A)
