Rebels’ McCormick earns SEC Defensive Player of the Week honor

Ole Miss senior goalkeeper Kelly McCormick has been named the Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Week after helping lead the Rebels to an undefeated weekend to open the 2014 season, the league office announced on Monday. (August 26, 2014, Page 10)

    Rebels tie Georgia 1-1 in opener, beat Iowa State 1-0

    Ole Miss’ women’s soccer team split their opening weekend with a 1-1 draw in their SEC opener against Georgia, then earning their first win of the young season with a 1-0 victory over Iowa State Sunday at the Ole Miss Soccer Complex. (August 25, 2014, Page 10)

      Ole Miss making changes to three athletic facilities

      The Board of Trustees of State Institute of Higher Learning approved three requests from the University of Mississippi on Thursday. The requests include a new name for the Basketball Practice Facility and changes to the football practice fields and the Gillom Sports Center. (June 20, 2014, Page 7A)

        Ole Miss shuts out Auburn

        The Ole Miss Lady Rebels rebounded in a big way from the first home loss of the season by putting together an offensive outburst Sunday afternoon. Ole Miss defeated Auburn 7-0, the team’s largest margin of victory in a Southeastern Conference match. (September 30, 2013, Page 4B)

          Ole Miss returns home Sunday

            Lady Rebs welcome plenty of new faces

            “Hello my name is:” name tags should have been mandatory when the Ole Miss soccer team opened camp this week.
