Landers wins 900th game as UGA tops OM
Jasmine Hassell had 23 points and 10 rebounds and Georgia’s Andy Landers earned his 900th coaching victory as the No. 19 Lady Bulldogs defeated Ole Miss 73-54 Sunday at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.
Landers has 818 wins with Georgia (23-4 overall, 11-3 SEC) and had 82 at Roane State prior to taking over Georgia’s program. The NCAA does not recognize his 82 wins at Roane State, a junior college located in Tennessee.
OM set to begin another national coaching search
The Ole Miss administration feels it has waited long enough to begin the search for the next Lady Rebels basketball coach.
Tuesday, the university listed the job on its Department of Human Resources website with two weeks remaining in the 2012-13 season.
