Ole Miss volleyball to kick off season at Buffalo Classic

After three weeks of preseason practice, it’s time for the Ole Miss volleyball team to kick off the 2014 season and the Steven McRoberts era. The Rebels will do that this weekend at the Buffalo Classic in Buffalo, New York. (August 28, 2014, Page 7)

    Three Rebel sports earn prestigious APR award

    Three Ole Miss teams have been recognized among the elite academic programs in the country in their sport with the NCAA’s announcement of the public recognition awards on Wednesday.         McRoberts named Ole Miss volleyball coach

        A 10-time conference coach of the year with 475 wins to his credit, Steven McRoberts was named the seventh coach of the Ole Miss volleyball program this morning. Ole Miss Athletics Director Ross Bjork made the announcement. (January 16, 2014, Page 7)

          Rebels notch 3-1 victory over rival Mississippi St.

          Playing against its intrastate conference rival on national TV, the Ole Miss volleyball team shined.               Classic weekend for OM volleyball

              The Ole Miss volleyball team kept its composure and rebounded from a first set loss to defeat Louisiana-Lafayette 3-1 (20-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-14) in the Rebel Classic championship on Saturday evening at the Gillom Sports Center. Ole Miss also defeated Southern Miss and Chattanooga by 3-0 scores earlier in the Classic. (September 23, 2013, Page 1B)

                    Morgan’s effort not enough for Lady Rebs

                    Ole Miss got a team-high 14 kills from Kara Morgan, and won the first set over Arkansas, but it wasn’t enough as the Lady Razorbacks rallied to win the next three sets and take the match 3-1 (22-25, 25-16, 25-21, 25-13) Sunday afternoon at the Gillom Sports Center.

                    Ole Miss (8-8 overall, 2-5 in the Southeastern Conference) entered Sunday afternoon’s match as winners of 10 of its past 12 matches against Arkansas, but couldn’t overcome the SEC West’s second-place team. (October 8, 2012, Page 3B)
