OM volleyball sweeps Georgia

It was an offensive attack here Wednesday at the Gillom Sports Center, as the Ole Miss Volleyball team hit a school record .432 with 53 kills, including three players in double-digits, to down Georgia 3-0. The Rebels improved to 22-9 overall and 8-9 in the SEC. With a 12-3 record at Gillom, the Rebels equaled the most home wins in school history. They will go for the record Friday against Texas A&M. (November 28, 2014, Page 6A)

      Ole Miss falls at Texas A&M

      COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Despite 17 kills from junior Nakeyta Clair and a double-double from freshman Lexi Thompson, the Ole Miss volleyball team was unable to knock off Texas A&M on the road, falling 3-1 (25-19, 16-25, 23-25, 18-25) Sunday at Reed Arena. (November 10, 2014, Page 6)

        Ole Miss sweeps Gamecocks 3-0, ends losing streak

        In their SEC opener, the Ole Miss volleyball team built a 2-0 lead on South Carolina, but saw the Gamecocks rally to win the match at their place. That was not the case here Sunday at the Gillom Sports Center, as the Rebels shut out the Gamecocks 3-0 behind a great defensive effort and the play of junior Nakeyta Clair. (November 3, 2014, Page 6)

          Rebel volleyball sweeps Mississippi State

          In front of a packed house of 848 fans at the Gillom Sports Center, the Ole Miss Volleyball team swept arch-rival Mississippi State 3-0 Sunday to improve to 16-3 overall and 2-3 in the SEC. At 9-0 in Gillom this year, the Rebels have posted the most consecutive home victories.  It’s also the team’s best start since a 17-2 start in 198. (October 13, 2014, Page 7)

            Ole Miss sweeps defending SEC champ Mizzou

            Missouri came in as the defending Southeastern Conference champion with a 20-match SEC win streak, but the Ole Miss volleyball team silenced the Tigers 3-0 Wednesday at the Gillom Sports Center in front of more than 500 fans and a nationally-televised audience on the SEC Network. (October 2, 2014, Page 7A)

              Ole Miss volleyball suffers first loss

              COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Ole Miss volleyball team had a match point in the fourth set at 24-23, but South Carolina won the final three points of that set and then took the fifth on its way to a 3-2 win Friday night at the Carolina Volleyball Center. (September 28, 2014, Page 5B)

                Ole Miss wins Rebel Classic, moves to 14-0

                It wasn’t always pretty, but the Ole Miss volleyball team picked up two more wins Saturday to capture the Rebel Classic and improve to 14-0 as it gets set to start Southeastern Conference play next weekend.                   Ole Miss volleyball to kick off season at Buffalo Classic

                    Three Rebel sports earn prestigious APR award

                    Three Ole Miss teams have been recognized among the elite academic programs in the country in their sport with the NCAA’s announcement of the public recognition awards on Wednesday. The Ole Miss women’s cross country, women’s golf and women’s volleyball teams received the prestigious honor for their latest Academic Progress Rates (APR). (May 8, 2014, Page 8)
