    Ice skating coming to the Square

    The Oxford Downtown Council will be hosting a free ice skating event in front of City Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Skate rentals and use of the synthetic ice rink is all free. (December 12, 2012, Page 1A, 3A)

      Trip to Texas A&M one well worth taking

      Trips to Bryan-College Station, Texas, will soon become part of Southeastern Conference play for Ole Miss fans, but Rebel baseball fans can get a jump on the trip to take in a sporting event at Texas A&M.         Nutt, Markuson, Higgins to speak at Thursday’s Ole Miss QB Club

        NUTT, MARKUSON, HIGGINS TO SPEAK AT THURSDAY’S OLE MISS QB CLUB: The fourth Ole Miss Quarterback Club meeting of the season on Thursday will feature Ole Miss coaches Houston Nutt and Mike Markuson, as well as Commercial Appeal writer Ron Higgins. The meeting is set for 7 p.m. and will be held at the Library Sports Bar.
