Second-year Ole Miss head soccer coach Matt Mott announced the signing of four student-athletes to National Letters of Intent Tuesday.

Cunningham lifts OM past Kentucky
Ole Miss’ 2-1 overtime win on Thursday’s Senior Night could not have been scripted any better.
With postseason aspirations still hanging in the balance, it seemed only fitting that the Lady Rebels’ lone senior, Taylor Cunningham, would score the golden goal in overtime that lifted Ole Miss past Kentucky and kept their post-season hopes alive.
Tied at 1-1 with the first overtime period winding down, Ole Miss midfielder Dylan Jordan put a crossing pass just in front of the Kentucky net from the left flank.
After the ball was kicked around a bit by Ole Miss’ Erin Emerson and a Kentucky defender in the box, Cunningham was able to swoop in from the right side and bury the loose ball past keeper Sydney Hiance. (October 22, 2010, Page 6A)
Miller remains committed to Rebels
Following Lafayette’s 28-6 victory over the Itawamba-AHS Indians I got a chance to catch up with Ole Miss commit Maikhail Miller.
The 6-foot-3, 235-pound quarterback had physically just gone through hell but took the time to talk about the game and where he stands with Ole Miss. (more…) (September 13, 2010)
Quick strikes doom Lady Rebels…
The Memphis Tigers showed why they’re ranked No. 20 in the country on Sunday at the Ole Miss Soccer Complex. After falling behind 1-0 in the first half, the Tigers wasted no time surging past the Lady Rebels in the second half, scoring two goals in three minutes en route to a 2-1 victory. Mott wants to keep Lady Rebels rolling
Since 1995, Ole Miss’ soccer program has only known one head coach — Steve Holeman.
This offseason, the team underwent a big transition when Holeman left Oxford to take over as the head coach at the University of Georgia.
Replacing Holeman, who posted a 158-119-28 overall record, is former Texas assistant Matthew Mott. (August 12, 2010, Page 1B)
