Ole Miss blanks UK to advance in SEC tourney

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Ole Miss’ women opened play at the Southeastern Conference Tournament on Wednesday and notched a pair of goals from two of the top players in the program’s history in a 2-0 win over Kentucky. No. 22 Ole Miss (15-4-2 overall) will now  face the top-seeded Florida Gators at 4 p.m. on Friday. (November 7, 2013, Page 11)

    Seniors lead Ole Miss past Miss. State

    Ole Miss’ seniors came up big in the regular-season finale Thursday night, getting a pair of goals from both Mandy McCalla and Rafaelle Souza to help push the No. 25 Lady Rebels to a 5-1 win over Mississippi State and claim the Magnolia Cup in the annual meeting between the two teams. (November 1, 2013, Page 6A)

        Souza scores ‘golden’ goal in overtime win

        Senior forward Rafaelle Souza came up big for Ole Miss on Sunday afternoon, punching in a pair of goals that included the golden goal in overtime to give No. 23 Ole Miss a 2-1 win over Alabama. (October 28, 2013, Page 2B)

          No. 24 Ole Miss-No. 7 USC play to 1-1 draw

          Olivia Harrison delivered her fifth goal of the season, putting the equalizing ball in the net in the 76th minute as No. 24 Ole Miss rallied to play No. 7 South Carolina to a 1-1 draw through two overtimes on Sunday. (October 21, 2013, Page 2B)

            Ole Miss ends non-SEC play on high note

            Ole Miss soccer capped its 2013 non-conference schedule with a 3-0 win over Arkansas Little-Rock Sunday evening. The Lady Rebels (8-1-1 overall) swept their weekend schedule with a 2-1 victory at Arkansas Friday night to open Southeastern Conference play. (September 23, 2013, Page 1B)

              Memphis visits Oxford Sunday

              The Ole Miss soccer team continues its season with another weekend of split matches. Ole Miss plays at Kennesaw State tonight before returning home to host the Memphis Tigers on Sunday. The match against Memphis is set for 7 p.m. (September 13, 2013, Page 7A)

                    Lady ‘Dores get glimpse of future

                    AMORY — The Lafayette Lady Commodores may have gotten a glimpse of their future Thursday night.

                    Leading the home Amory Lady Panthers onto the pitch was senior Addie Forbus, a future Ole Miss soccer player fresh off setting the state’s career goal mark (228) last week.
