Ole Miss Rebels

Texas’ shakeup to its coaching staff may change the way the Ole Miss offense goes about attacking the Longhorns, but nothing can alter the unit’s confidence heading into this weekend’s showdown in Austin. (September 11, 2013, Page 6)

Recent moves at Texas have Freeze ‘uncomfortable’

The unknown and being uncomfortable are two things head football coaches don’t like facing or feeling prior to any game let alone a big matchup on the road.

Rebels have mixed results against SEMO

For a half of Saturday’s home opener against Southeast Missouri, the No. 25 Ole Miss Rebels looked like a team that could have easily covered the 52-point spread oddsmakers made them. But for the other half of the Rebels’ 31-13 win in front of a crowd of 60,815 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, they struggled to move the ball and give the same kind of effort they did early with the second- and third-team units in the lineup. (September 9, 2013, Page 1B)
