Swamp Stomper race adds biking to event

Swamp Stomper: Pre-Race Meeting
Ole Miss Outdoors’ Seventh Annual Swamp Stomper Adventure Race is set for April 10 at Sardis Lake.
Ten teams of four will bike 2.25 miles, trail run 6-8 miles, canoe 5 miles and then portage their canoe to the finish line. The bike leg is a new addition this year to the race route.
All teams must have four team members, and at least one team member must be of the opposite gender. Each team will receive specific information and a detailed map of the race course at the pre-race meeting, set for Tuesday at 5 p.m. in Turner Center Room 112. The registration fee is $30 per person ($120 per team); one person must register and pay to reserve a spot in the race.
