Ward-Poley brought vision to fruition
Football is often considered a man’s sport, played and coached by men.
That definitely was not the case at Ole Miss’ Indoor Practice Facility this weekend.
Ole Miss’ female fans were allowed a peek into the Rebel football world on Saturday in the form of the 10th annual Ole Miss Ladies Football Forum. (July 26, 2010, Page 8)
Ladies Forum back for Year 10
Little details and getting them done right is something Ole Miss Program Director Chyna Ward-Poley loves to do well. For the last 10 years, she’s been making sure that women from around the state, region and nation have been enjoying the little details about college football through her Ladies Football Forum. Ole Miss Ladies Forum going on year No. 10
The Ole Miss Ladies Football Forum will be celebrating its 10th year of existence July 23-24. This year’s guest speaker will be CBS sports broadcaster Tim Brando while country music performer Darryl Worley will give a concert following the first night’s activities.
A fashion show, featuring the wives of the Ole Miss coaches and their children, has already sold out, but it will highlight the first day of the event. The cost of Saturday’s forum is $150 and women have the ability to not only get their picture made with Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt and listen to Brando, but tour the Indoor Practice Facility, watch a highlight video and gain valuable football information from the Ole Miss all the defensive coaches and co-offensive coordinator Dave Rader.
