Diamond Rebels travel to Arkansas in search of offensive, pitching answers

It has been an up-and-down week for the Ole Miss baseball team. After winning their first Southeastern Conference series against then-No.1-ranked Florida last weekend, the Rebels were swept by UAB during a doubleheader on Tuesday.  Now Ole Miss (13-12, 3-3 SEC) must attempt to flush the events from two days ago and turn its attention to Arkansas (11-12, 1-5), where the Rebels begin a three-game series tonight in Fayetteville, Arkansas (6:30 p.m., ESPNU). (March 26, 2015, Page 6)

    Rebels drop twinbill to UAB

    The Ole Miss baseball team suffered a doubleheader setback at the hands of the UAB Blazers on Tuesday afternoon. UAB (14-9) held the Rebels (13-12) to one run in each seven-inning game, claiming the first contest, 6-1, before taking the finale, 3-1. (March 25, 2015, Page 6)

      Rebs take series from No. 1 Gators

      The Ole Miss Rebels took two of three and the Southeastern Conference series from the top-ranked Florida Gators this weekend, winning Friday night’s opener 4-1 and then the first game of a twin bill Saturday 5-2 before the salvaged an 8-4 victory in the nightcap at Oxford-University Stadium. (March 22, 2015, Page 1B)

        BLOG: Rebels top No. 1 Florida, 4-1

        After dropping their opening Southeastern Conference series to LSU last weekend, Ole Miss needed to start their weekend series with No. 1 Florida off on the right foot.           Diamond Rebels host No. 1 Florida for SEC home opener

          For the second weekend in a row, the Ole Miss baseball team will face a top-5 opponent. Depending on which of the five polls people acknowledge, they are also facing the No. 1 team in the country for the second time in as many weekends as the Rebels (11-9, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) host Florida (19-3, 2-1) for their SEC opening home series. (March 20, 2015, Page 1B)

            OM rallies for walk-off win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff

              Diamond Rebels drop rubber match to No. 1 LSU, lose opening SEC series

              BATON ROUGE, La. – In the rubber match of the opening series of Southeastern Conference play, the Ole Miss baseball team suffered an 18-6 defeat to No. 1 LSU Sunday afternoon. After the Rebels (10-9, 1-2 SEC) struck in the first inning, the Tigers (18-2, 2-1 SEC) countered with 10 unanswered runs en route to claiming the series. (March 16, 2015, Page 6)

                Ole Miss takes down No. 8 Louisville, 8-3

                LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Closing out the midweek series, the Ole Miss baseball team bounced back from Tuesday’s loss by soaring past the No. 8 Louisville Cardinals, 8-3, Wednesday afternoon. The Rebels (9-7) scored multiple runs in three different innings and added solid pitching from Sam Smith and Will Stokes to pick up the victory. (March 12, 2015, Page 6)

                  Ole Miss loses to No. 8 Louisville, 5-3

                  LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kicking off five games on the road over a six-day period, the Ole Miss baseball team suffered a 5-3 setback at the hands of No. 8 Louisville Tuesday at Jim Patterson Stadium. Junior Cameron Dishon homered for the first time in his career with a solo blast in the fifth, but the Cardinals (11-5) scored a run in four-straight innings to help them to victory in the non-conference matchup. (March 11, 2015, Page 6)

                    Hatters use big innings to rout Ole Miss in finale

                    With a big week of games coming up for the No. 22 Ole Miss baseball team, the Rebels were looking for momentum heading in. With the chance to earn their first series sweep of the season, the Rebels were unable to as Stetson’s bats came alive and Ole Miss was unable to capitalize on opportunities in a 16-4 loss Sunday afternoon at Oxford-University Stadium. (March 9, 2015, Page 6)
