Trio helps lead No. 6 Rebels past Warhawks
MONROE, La. — Ole Miss’ offense continued its trend of being efficient and opportunisticTuesday night in a 10-4 win over Louisiana-Monroe. The No. 6 Rebels improved to 17-1 overall with the win over the Warhawks, who tried to slow the Rebels down by starting one of their weekend pitchers. No. 6 OM Rebels show toughness in latest win
Ole Miss’ come-from-behind 9-8 win over Lipscomb on Sunday was difficult on a number of fronts. Not lost on the Rebels was the impending weather that didn’t end up coming to fruition until later.
With overcast skies and light rain beginning to fall around the fourth inning, the Rebels — in the field, at bat and on the mound — did a good job of not rushing or getting caught up in the possibility of a rain-shortened series finale.
Bianco becomes winningest coach
Heading into his 13th season as Ole Miss’ skipper, it was a matter of when, not if, for Mike Bianco.

OM’s Gatlin out for year after latest injury
Ole Miss senior infielder John Gatlin will be out for the year after fracturing his left foot. Gatlin said he was simply jogging during last Wednesday’s practice when he felt like he stepped on a rock. Bianco becomes Rebs’ winningest coach with 8-5 victory
VIDEO BLOG: The No. 7 Rebels will look to make skipper Mike Bianco the winningest coach in program history today at 1:30 p.m. when they host Lipscomb for the second game of a three-game series.
Friday, Ole Miss clobbered the Bisons early to claim a 10-1 victory. With the win, Bianco tied Ole Miss legend and All-American Jake Gibbs in the school’s record book with 485.

Bianco ties Gibbs as Rebs’ winningest coach with 10-1 victory
VIDEO BLOG: The No. 7 Rebels have been weekend wizards in a sense, finding various ways to remain undefeated in three-game sets.
After topping then-ranked TCU to open the season, Ole Miss has swept Rhode Island and Florida International in subsequent series to post a 9-0 weekend record.
Tonight, the Rebels (13-1 overall) host the Lipscomb Bisons (6-7) in the first of three games with a 6:30 p.m. start at Oxford-University Stadium.

Turner keeping runners at bay
The Lipscomb Bisons have been efficient this season at swiping bases, nabbing 11 in 12 attempts.
