FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Ole Miss fell a win short of making this week’s Southeastern Conference Tournament after being swept at No. 30 Arkansas in two seven inning games on Saturday at Baum Stadium.
It was a pitcher’s duel from the start between the Rebels and Razorbacks on Thursday night, and though the Rebels blinked first, it was Ole Miss (30-23, 13-15 SEC) that came out on top with timely hitting in a 2-1 win over Arkansas (34-18, 13-15 SEC) at Baum Stadium. (more…) (May 20, 2011, Page 6A)
