Bianco wins 500th game as OM coach
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The No. 21 Ole Miss Rebels put on their rally caps on Sunday and then executed to perfection to defeat the Tennessee Volunteers 4-3 Sunday. The victory earned the Rebels their second straight sweep in Southeastern Conference play and improved them to 29-12 overall and 10-8 in SEC play, the first time they are over .500 since the opening weekend. The No. 21 Ole Miss Rebels have had an interesting couple of weeks. Ole Miss rebounded from being swept by No. 2 Vanderbilt by earning a sweep of its own last weekend with Alabama in town.

Mathis comes through for No. 23 OM Rebels
Tanner Mathis hasn’t had a very Taner Mathis-like this season.
When the Ole Miss outfielder turned down the Houston Astros’ offer this summer, he had already compiled a career batting average of .345 and was coming off of a career year in which he hit .359. No. 23 Ole Miss closes out three-game sweep with walk-off win
VDEO BLOG: No. 23 Ole Miss found its scoring touch this weekend with the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide at Oxford-University Stadium. After scoring nine total runs during their six-game skid, the Rebels plated 11 in two games against the Tide.
