Rebel volleyball sweeps Mississippi State

In front of a packed house of 848 fans at the Gillom Sports Center, the Ole Miss Volleyball team swept arch-rival Mississippi State 3-0 Sunday to improve to 16-3 overall and 2-3 in the SEC. At 9-0 in Gillom this year, the Rebels have posted the most consecutive home victories.  It’s also the team’s best start since a 17-2 start in 198. (October 13, 2014, Page 7)

        NOTEBOOK: Healthy Wallace wants to ‘play within the offense’

        Bo Wallace is confident in his healthy throwing shoulder. Maybe too confident. Last week’s season opener against Boise State was the Ole Miss senior quarterback’s first chance to display the renewed strength in his arm thanks to a shoulder that’s finally back to 100 percent following a separation suffered during the 2012 season. Wallace admitted it got him into trouble at times. (September 2, 2014, Page 8)
