LaPlante ready to make impact as Rangers’ coach

SENATOBIA — Brad LaPlante, the new head football coach at Northwest Mississippi Community College, has hit the ground running.

LaPlante isn’t new to being a head coach — he went 64-16 at Division III Rochester College (Minn.) from 2004-10 — but he has never coached in the state junior college system. Laplante, however, is ready to make up for that through a lot of hard work that his administration has already seen from him. (January 18, 2013, Page 7A)
