New Albany uses its size to take down Lafayette

Lafayette’s basketball teams found out first hand Tuesday night that size really does matter on the court.

New Albany post players Jazmine Spears and Moses Kingsley each played huge roles in their team’s Region 2-4A victories at Lafayette, with the Lady Bulldogs winning 47-31 in the opener and the Bulldogs pulling out a 42-36 win in the nightcap. (more…) (January 25, 2012, Page 6)

      Dennis does it again for ‘Dores

      Jeremy Liggins’ uniform has perhaps never been as clean following a game as it was after Lafayette’s game on Friday night at William L. Buford Stadium.

        LHS pens up New Albany Bulldogs

          Chargers blank New Albany

          Early scoring and consistency putting points on the scoreboard throughout the contest allowed the seventh-grade Oxford Chargers to post a 40-0 win over New Albany on Tuesday night at Bobby Holcomb Field.

          Head coach Mike Hardwick saw almost his entire roster see action, which includes approximately 70 players. Hardwick also got to see his defense perform at a high level after wanting the unit to pick things up. (September 14, 2011, Page 7)

            Oxford tennis cruises past New Albany
