Tree census planned for fall

The Oxford Tree Board, along with volunteers from the MSU Extension Service and Ole Miss, will be conducting a tree inventory of trees on city rights-of way and parks and using satellite pictures to conduct a tree canopy study this fall. (September 5, 2014, Page 1)

      Learning the basics of sewing

      The Mississippi State University Extension Service of Lafayette County offers several classes and programs throughout the year including a recent sewing class that taught first-time sewers the basics of sewing through creating their own potholders and pillows. (February 24, 2012, Page 1B)
