        New Hope’s Golsan commits to Rebels

        When you know what you want, there’s no sense in waiting.

        That’s how Will Golsan felt Tuesday when he verbally committed to the Ole Miss baseball team.

        Having grown up an Ole Miss fan, it didn’t take long for the New Hope shortstop to pull the trigger after being offered during his visit to campus Monday.

                Sullivan has decision to make

                Charley Sullivan didn’t think he’d have much of a decision to make. As it turns out, he does.

                Prior to the 2013 season, the former Oxford Charger was slated to be Alabama’s Friday night ace but after receiving minimal interest from professional teams Sullivan decided to begin preparing for law school. (more…) (June 10, 2013, Page 9)

                    LHP Reed selected 46th overall by Royals

                    Just a couple of years ago Cody Reed was a crafty left-hander at Horn Lake High who showed some projectability because of his frame.

                    Thursday, the Ole Miss signee and Northwest Mississippi Community Ranger was selected 46th overall in the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Players Draft by the Kansas City Royals.
