Two arrested for failure to pay taxes
Two Oxford business owners were arrested this week for failing to pay their sales tax.
Since the charge is a misdemeanor, the names of the two are not being released.
According to Kathy Waterbury of the Mississippi State Tax Commission, the commission uses criminal procedures only as a last resort. (June 17, 2010, Page 2)
