Investigation continues into bowling alley fire

Fire officials from the Oxford Fire Department, the state Fire Marshal’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are trying to determine what might have caused a fire that destroyed The Lanes bowling alley and Brass Monkey Sports Pub & Grub early Wednesday morning. (September 23, 2010, Page 2)

    Property owners put up $9K reward

    The owners of The Gin, that burned down Saturday night, are offering $9,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone involved with the fire. (March 12, 2010, Page 2A)

      Gin fire ruled suspicious

      Fire marshals with the state of Mississippi and Oxford Fire Department have ruled the fire that ravaged the former popular night spot The Gin over the weekend was suspicious in nature — although there’s not enough evidence to rule it arson. (March 11, 2010, Page 2A)

        Rewards offered in suspected arson cases
