Local man found safe after lengthy search
An Oxford man was found in Water Valley this morning after area law enforcement officers spent all night searching for him. Ron DeWitt was jogging on the Rail Trails at about 5 p.m. and for unknown reasons, kept running until he got to Water Valley. The case is under investigation. (April 27, 2012, Page 2A)
Missing man found
The Panola County Sheriff’s Department announced that Ricky Russell of Murphy Ridge Road has been found. Russell, who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease, was found early Friday morning and is “OK.” (August 26, 2011, Page 2A)
