Pati D’Amico-Warren writes to say that it’s disappointing to hear that Megabus is not using Oxford as a hub any more because of lack of business and to note that’s another step backward for public transportation in Mississippi, while Jesus Soto writes to ask for assistance with an English project his California high school is doing on the Magnolia State. (December 10, 2014, Page 4A)

      Megabus now stopping in Oxford

      Megabus, a bus travel company, now has a stop in Oxford allowing residents to travel via bus to Memphis, Jackson and New Orleans on state-of-the-art double decker buses. The buses will stop at the South Lot on the University of Mississippi campus. (December 17, 2013, Page 1, 3)

        Megabus pumps brakes on fall plans

        Megabus won’t have a bus stop in Oxford come this fall, however, plans to make Oxford a stop between its future Memphis-New Orleans route are still being considered. (June 25, 2013, Page 1)

            Buses to run later – earlier
