Meals on Wheels volunteers more than delivery people

We applaud all who take part in Meals on Wheels, and especially those volunteers who take much more than just food to recipients. Volunteers are often the only contact many homebound seniors have with the rest of the world, and Meals on Wheels provides them with a friend, a confidant and someone who will check on their safety and well-being. (October 12, 2014, Page 4A)

        United Way reaches goal
