The Oxford University Transit system celebrated the opening of its new bus facility, the Richard C. Howorth Oxford University Transit Operations and Maintenance Facility on McElroy Drive Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new shop. (December 6, 2013, Page 1A)

      City to get 2 bowling alleys

          Youth Corps program in second year

              MDOT plans to replace wooden bridges

              MDOT will soon be getting bids on a construction project that will replace eight wooden bridges on Highway 328, leading into Taylor. (March 28, 2013, Page 1)

                Major changes set for Old Taylor Road

                Board of Aldermen approved a site plan amendment for Falkner Flats, a 618-bed development off Old Taylor Road, although two aldermen voted against it due to increased traffic and construction projects planned for the road by MDOT and Baptist Memorial Hospital. (March 20, 2013, Page 1, 2)
