On top again: ‘Dores take wind out of Tornadoes
JACKSON — About 30 seconds after Lafayette wrapped up its second straight MHSAA Class 4A state title at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium, head coach Anthony Hart embraced his youngest son Derek with a huge bear hug.

Tornadoes standing in way of 4A repeat
A season filled with high expectations and a certain degree of pressure now comes down to one, exciting game left for the Lafayette Commodores.
Lafayette advanced back to the MHSAA’s Class 4A title game Saturday in Jackson by defeating Amory 35-7 in the North Half title game.
