The Lafayette High boys doubles team of Jacob Roberts and Hunter Knight and the mixed doubles team of Brett Bowen and Abby Arrington advanced to the individual MHSAA state tournament next month by finishing second at Tuesday’s Division 2-4A tournament in New Albany. Oxford capped off a perfect regular season on the court Monday afternoon with a 7-0 win over Lafayette at Avent Park. The Chargers, now 16-0 heading into the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs, feature a senior class that is 116-2 during their career and Monday’s match with the Commodores was Senior Day.
