‘Lady Dores get complete-game win
Once things got rolling on offense for the Lafayette Lady Commodores on the softball field Tuesday night, they didn’t stop until the game was completely in their favor. LHS defeated the Lady Chargers 11-2 at Oxford thanks to a potent offense, strong pitching from starter Kelsey Kesler and another flawless performance on defense. (March 7, 2012)
Lady ‘Dores shine in Class II North Half meet
Three first-place finishes helped lead the Lafayette Lady Commodores to a second-place finish overall in Thursday’s Class II North Half meet. Eight lifters qualified for the upcoming state tournament, while LHS garnered 38 points overall. Charleston won the meet with 69 points and had 12 lifters make it to the state tournament. Lady Commodores roll to 2-4A semifinals
NEW ALBANY — The Tunica-Rosa Fort Lady Lions found out real quick Tuesday what a fruitless endeavor it is to try and run with the Lafayette Lady Commodores.
