    Lady ‘Dores rout Senatobia

    With four key Division 3-4A matches left on the schedule, the Lafayette Lady Commodores took a big step to earning a spot in the upcoming MHSAA playoffs with an impressive 6-0 win over Senatobia at William L. Buford Stadium Tuesday night. (January 9, 2013, Page 6)

      LHS girls start season 2-0

      The Lafayette Lady Commodores opened their season 2-0 after knocking off Saltillo 3-2 and South Pontotoc 6-0 on Saturday. Alley Houghton scored all three goals against Saltillo and chipped in another four goals against SPHS. Abbey Pate scored Lafayette’s other two goals against the Lady Cougars. LHS returns to the pitch Tuesday at Grenada. Lafayette’s boys will be making their debut against the Chargers. (November 12, 2012, Page 5B)

        Pontotoc tops Lady ‘Dores in playoffs

        LHS GIRLS SOCCER – The Lafayette Lady Commodores’ season came to an end Monday in the second round of the Class 4A playoffs. Pontotoc proved to be too much for LHS in the second half of a 3-0 win. LHS coach Melinda Scruggs was still upbeat about how her team performed this year despite the loss. (February 2, 2010, Page 9)
