A 77-year-old man from Abbeville, Wayne Parks Ward, is back at home after he was missing for more than 24 hours. Ward was found in Fair Oaks, Ark. after he flagged down a truck driver asking for directions. The truck driver contacted local police. (April 11, 2012, Page 2)
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a 77-year-old man who has been missing since noon Monday. Wayne Parks Ward of Abbeville left Memphis around noon and headed home but never arrived. Family says Ward has been somewhat forgetful in recent months.
