There is plenty to play for for the area’s three high school football teams this week.
Oxford, the state’s fifth-ranked overall team, will host Clarksdale for the outright Region 1-5A title Friday night while Class 3A No. 5 Water Valley needs a victory over Independence to keep pace atop the Region 2-3A standings.
