‘Dores nip Caledonia, advance in playoffs

CALEDONIA — The playoff run continues for the Lafayette High volleyball team. The Commodores advanced to the second round of the MHSAA Class I playoffs after a 3-2 (18-25, 25-18, 26-24, 24-26, 16-14) victory over Caledonia on Tuesday night inside the Caledonia High School gym. (October 22, 2014, Page 1B)

      OHS sweeps ‘Dores in season finale

      The Oxford High volleyball team hosted crosstown rival Lafayette for the regular-season finale for both teams Thursday inside the Oxford Middle School gym.         ‘Dores fall to Senatobia, get No. 2 playoff seed

        The Lafayette High volleyball team faced the Senatobia Warriors with first place in Class I, Region 2 on the line Tuesday night inside the LHS gym. The Commodores were unable to unseat Senatobia as they fell 3-1 (25-21, 13-25, 19-25, 16-25). (October 8, 2014, Page 1B)

          ‘Dores into playoffs with sweep of Byhalia

          It was all business for the Lafayette High volleyball team as it swept the season series from Byhalia with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-11, 25-9) victory inside the Lafayette High gym Thursday.               ‘Dores finish off season sweep of WVHS

              WATER VALLEY – Lafayette’s volleyball team picked up the pace against Water Valley. It helped the Commodores pick up another region victory Tuesday night. Lafayette (11-7, 3-1 in Class I, Region 2) finished off a season sweep of the Blue Devils with a 3-0 win (25-12, 25-13, 25-9) at the WVHS multipurpose building. (September 10, 2014, Page 6)

                Lady ‘Dores win region opener

                Lafayette high school volleyball coach Clint Jordan wanted to see more pressure put on the opposition with a faster pace of play.                   Oxford notches 3-0 win over Commodores

                  The Oxford and Lafayette High volleyball teams reignited the Crosstown Rivalry for the first time this school year inside the Lafayette High gym Tuesday.
