The Lafayette baseball team proved on Friday night that good practices can be parlayed into big-time games.

Pitching propels ‘Dores to double-dip success
It wasn’t that the Diamond ‘Dores racked up 12 runs in two victories on Wednesday that impressed Lafayette head coach Greg Lewis.

Former ‘Dore leads Blue Mountain to win
Former Lafayette High baseball standout Hunter Mize had a great individual game in leading Blue Mountain to a 5-4 win over Bethel University this past Friday. The victory was the first TranSouth Atlantic Conference win for Blue Mountain, who just added baseball this past offseason. Mize drove in two of the five runs and picked up the save in relief.
