    Tunes & Tails to benefit pediatric cause

    The Oxford-Ole Miss Rotary will hold a $10 benefit at the Powerhouse on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. with Jimbo Mathus and Tri-State Coalition and Moon Pie Curtis playing. There will be all-you-can-eat crawfish. Proceeds go to benefit the rotary and the Thisbe and Noah Scott Foundation. (May 15, 2012, Page 3)

      Jimbo Mathus – At it again

      OXFORD TOWN – Mississippi native Jimbo Mathus is bringing “catfish music” home after a successful East Coast tour this summer promoting his latest album, “Confederate Buddha.” Mathus and his band, The Tri-State Coalition, are set for Rooster’s Blues House tonight (Thursay, Aug. 11). Oxford Town columnist George Atkins sat down and chatted with the Grammy winner about the show, his new album and the Coalition.
