Tunes & Tails to benefit pediatric cause
The Oxford-Ole Miss Rotary will hold a $10 benefit at the Powerhouse on Thursday from 5 to 9 p.m. with Jimbo Mathus and Tri-State Coalition and Moon Pie Curtis playing. There will be all-you-can-eat crawfish. Proceeds go to benefit the rotary and the Thisbe and Noah Scott Foundation. (May 15, 2012, Page 3)
Jimbo Mathus – At it again
OXFORD TOWN – Mississippi native Jimbo Mathus is bringing “catfish music” home after a successful East Coast tour this summer promoting his latest album, “Confederate Buddha.” Mathus and his band, The Tri-State Coalition, are set for Rooster’s Blues House tonight (Thursay, Aug. 11).
