Rebel offense having to cope without RBs

For at least a couple of days, Ole Miss’ quarterback battle has taken a back seat thanks to the Rebels getting a little roughed up by Brigham Young.

Against the Cougars, Ole Miss’ depth at running back took a significant hit when All-Southeastern Conference senior Brandon Bolden and fellow veteran Enrique Davis went down with leg injuries.

During his weekly press conference Monday, Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt addressed both injuries. (September 6, 2011, Page 6)

Nutt shoots down rumors, talks future

Diana Nutt won’t be needing to purchase snow gear anytime soon.

Nutt looking for another Novermber to remember

Ole Miss begins its final month of the regular season Saturday with its annual Homecoming game. The Rebels need to win three of the final four games to gain bowl eligibility, a tough task for any team let alone one that has struggled with its consistency and has yet to play a complete game.

Rebel coach Houston Nutt talked about where his team was heading into the final month during his weekly press conference Monday. (November 2, 2010, Page 8)

Improving key with AU Tigers looming

Improving on the mistakes made in the loss at Arkansas and getting ready for the No. 1 team in the BCS standings isn’t an ideal scenario for the Ole Miss Rebels, but it’s one coach Houston Nutt will have to try and help his team overcome Saturday.

The Rebels host the undefeated Auburn Tigers (8-0 overall, 5-0 in the Southeastern Conference) at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday evening coming off of a 14-point loss to the Razorbacks that could have possibly gone the Rebels’ way if they did a better job of minimizing mistakes. (October 26, 2010, Page 8)
