A 17-hit attack on offense higlighted the Lafayette Lady Commodores’ 8-3 win over Class 6A Horn Lake Thursday night. Six players had at least two hits in the win, while three players — Kendall Glass, Emily Robinson and Moesha Phillips — each had three hits in the win. Lafayette’s Alley Houghton recorded a hat trick before 20 minutes had elapsed off the clock in Tuesday’s soccer match with Horn Lake at William L. Buford Stadium. Houghton finished with five goals overall in the Lady Commodores’ 7-1 victory over the Lady Eagles.
