Lady ‘Dores pound Horn Lake
A 17-hit attack on offense higlighted the Lafayette Lady Commodores’ 8-3 win over Class 6A Horn Lake Thursday night. Six players had at least two hits in the win, while three players — Kendall Glass, Emily Robinson and Moesha Phillips — each had three hits in the win. Houghton, LHS unload on Horn Lake
Lafayette’s Alley Houghton recorded a hat trick before 20 minutes had elapsed off the clock in Tuesday’s soccer match with Horn Lake at William L. Buford Stadium. Houghton finished with five goals overall in the Lady Commodores’ 7-1 victory over the Lady Eagles.

Commodores can’t hold onto early lead against Eagles
A strong push out of the gates only lasted so long for the Lafayette Commodores in their match with Horn Lake Tuesday night at William L. Buford Stadium. A late surge proved to be crucial for the Lafayette Lady Commodores in their 53-41 victory over Horn Lake, while the Commodores were unable to find consistent scoring in their 52-30 loss to the Eagles on Day 1 of the “O” Town Showdown at the Oxford High gym on Wednesday evening.
