    Oxford to mark 175th birthday

    Oxford will be celebrating its 175th birthday starting Saturday during the first Happy Birthday Oxford! Summer Fest sponsored by the Oxford Downtown Council. Along with a sidewalk sale from Square stores, family-orientated events will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday on the Courthouse lawn. (June 27, 2012, Page 1)

      Where’s Waldo? In Oxford, of course

      Find Waldo in Oxford will kick off this weekend. Waldo, the loveable, elusive character will be making “appearances” around Oxford at 25 local businesses during July. At each place, players collect cards that can be traded in for prizes at Square Books Jr. on July 30. (June 27, 2012, Page 2)
