Parking Commission tweaks policies

The Downtown Parking Advisory Commission made a few changes to some policies Wednesday that would require everyone in a metered parking spot to pay for parking and got rid of an exclusion list. (November 6, 2014, Page 1A)

      What’s with the un-handicapped parking?

      How many times have you seen cars without handicapped parking license plates or placards parked inside those blue lines or in front of those blue signs? How many times have you see perfectly healthy folks get out of cars in those spots without any apparent concern about whose spot they were taking?
